House of Prayer Audio Files Old-fashioned preaching
Preaching was commanded, ordained, and demonstrated by the Lord Jesus Christ and John the Baptist in the New Testament but did not originate with their fiery words. As far back as Noah, in II Pet 2:5, the Bible says, “if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others.” Here the Bible calls Noah a preacher of righteousness. That is some real old-fashioned preaching! And though the multitudes of souls perished because they did not heed his warning, Noah’s wife and children, as well as three daughters-in-law, were saved. Imagine the fate of Noah’s family had he not preached. In Rom 10:13 (NIV), the Bible says, “for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” This is the firm belief of House of Prayer Christian Church, and as the House of Prayer Audio Files shows, the ministers faithfully exhort with long-suffering and doctrine.

Also, in the House of Prayer Audio Files, you will hear teaching that is scripturally based and doctrinally founded. Instruction is given, straight out of the Bible, that will help you make godly decisions, live a life that is pleasing and acceptable to the Lord, and examine your own heart and soul. Many scriptures are read that will lead to deep introspection if one has ears to hear. One benefit of having the archives of recording is that you can listen to a particular class or message repeatedly. Just like music fans have a “favorite” playlist and return to the same singer over and over or buy every new album from a particular singer, a student of the Bible can sit and take notes, writing down references that are given, and even pause the playback, to ponder what was just said. You can play a favorite message multiple times to let the words sink into your heart.
Mighty voices, beautiful feet
House of Prayer Audio Files has a great selection of fiery preaching. Furthermore, there have been many famous preachers throughout history. John the Baptist was a burning and shining light, the voice crying in the wilderness. Jonah cried mightily onto Nineveh, and they repented and sackcloth and ashes. All through the Scriptures, we have countless messages recorded with pen and ink. Likewise, more modern preachers are known to us because of the volumes of printed sermons. These are the likes of Charles Finney, Jonathan Edwards, and Charles Spurgeon. Millions of copies of their collective writings and commentaries have been sold around the world. How amazing would it be if we had audio recordings of their classic fire and brimstone preaching? Or what if we had the messages of Jesus Christ on tape? How inspiring and thrilling would it be to play a message by Isaiah? Isaiah himself said in chapter 52 of the book by his name, verse seven, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion Your God reigns!
Though we don’t have audio clips of ancient messages, we are preachers from a couple of hundred years ago. Still, we have their extensive archives of Spirit-filled ministry, and it is our prayer that these House of Prayer Audio Files will bless and stir your heart to pray and seek a closer walk with God.
